Multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Rhonda Richmond captures the smooth and verdant tones of her native Mississippi in her music. Steeped in the blues, peppered with jazz and a healthy dose of R&B and country, Ms. Richmond's music reveals a powerful spiritual component which illuminates the strong cultural ties between the Mississippi region and the West African nation of the Yoruba. Rhythm And Strings is dedicated to Richmond’s parents who passed on to the ancestor realm within a few months of each other.

Tawanna Shaunte

Tawanna Shaunte’s musical talents have been hailed as healing, motivational and inspirational. The daughter of Mississippi’s Delta blues and gospel was indoctrinated into the culture by her father, Tommy J. Harper, a guitar player and mother, Grace, a gospel singer and pianist.

Shaunte’s travels as a touring artist began with her singing lead for the group Electik Soul over a span of three years.  Electik Soul produced the album Electik Soul: Electik Soul” and “Rising.” Both albums were met with successful CD sales in the United States, London, Japan, and the Netherlands.
